I am in my 2nd trimester and have bad back and stomach pain all the time. Is it safe to use heat packs? - heat packs jacksonville, fl
I have a heating pad on the abdomen and back, but recently told me that this is not good for the child. I know you're not good for cooking, but only heats up. Please someone tell me whether this is acceptable or not.

I take hot showers, but use cold compresses. at least works better for back pain, and not harm your baby.
Warm compresses not as long as you do not too much or too long.
I would use it in my belly does not mean that hangs on the back of the temperature, which is likely to be achieved, you have to ask, OB first!
call u you should ask your doctor, but I have one, and it was nice ... Call your doctor or UR and talk about their pain. Good luck
It's OK to use a limited time (20 minutes). They say it is safe because it can increase the body temperature and can be dangerous for your baby. During your time must be limited so that it should go. However .. Care should always be polite to your doctor.
