Can I (a Minnesotan) purchase a handgun in Wisconsin w/o the "Minnesota Permit to obtain Handguns"? - minnesota gun permit
I know that if you want to buy a gun in MN, I would check to obtaining a permit to purchase, as well as from the background to (undergo $ 75-90). I also recognize that laws, a resident in Wisconsin, not under the same. Is it just a big gray area in my position? Or is there some kind of law that prohibits me from my gun in Wisconsin as one of Minnesota?

You are subject to the same DOJ background check and federal NICS check that a Wisconsin resident would go through. You also may have a waiting period, depending upon what firearm you purchase.
Then, your new firearm must be shipped from the selling dealer to a FFL dealer in Minnesota, since it is crossing state lines. That usually costs some extra money.
I have no idea where you came up with the $75 - $90 cost of a NICS background check. I do not know any FFL dealer in MN who charges anything for placing a 5 minute phone call.
Your local police chief does not charge you to issue a permit to purchase either.
I could not find anything in the Legal Section of the NRA, but that is only a summary. To view all the information you need to call a business. There is a waiting period of 48 hours to buy a gun in Wisconsin, and a background check and do not have a MN license is required by law. I can not buy me a firearm in another state, but think that if I is my state and all background checks step for the waiting to happen here.

I do not think that there is a problem with your purchase, but it could be a problem with transportation back in Minnesota. I am very sure how it would happen, but the easiest way would be to ask a police officer or deputy sheriff.
